Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this guide. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.

What we've done

• Plain language, clear headings and a “skip to content” link.
• Text and links meet AA colour contrast, and focus outlines are always visible.
• It works with a keyboard, and at any zoom level or screen size.
• Every image has alt text describing what's actually in it.
• The home page video is silent, plays once for five seconds and doesn't loop. If your device is set to reduce motion, you'll see a still image instead.
• No pop-ups, no auto-playing sound and no third-party scripts.

Known limits

• Map links go to OpenStreetMap, which we don't control.
• The full videos linked on Pexels are on Pexels' own site.
